February Newsletter

“Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not
know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the
desert.” Isaiah 43:19

January has come and gone and we are well into the New Year. We are busy
keeping fires going and snow moved. There have been a few people who have
braved the winter weather to spend time enjoying the beauty that
accompanies this time of year here at camp. Snow-capped evergreens,
sunlight reflecting off the frozen lake, animal tracks in a fresh snowfall and
the smell of burning wood in the stove that keep us warm during these cold
winter months. Yes, Wilderness Ministries Bible Camp is a beautiful place in
the winter as well as the summer!

We want to take this time to invite you all to come and experience some
warm winter fellowship on Family Day, February 17, here at Camp. We will
have a potluck lunch at noon and a wiener roast at supper… Please bring
wieners and buns for your family. Come and enjoy the day with us as we
fellowship, visit, play games and just enjoy the outdoors (fishing and skating
weather permitting).

We also want to let you know that our Annual Fundraiser Banquet is set for
April 4, 2020. Please mark this date on your calendar and start thinking
about what you can donate for the silent auction or a dessert that you can
make for the Dessert Auction. We will be sending out more information in
the near future.

We want to thank you for your prayer and support for Wilderness
Ministries Bible Camp. We are in the midst of planning for our 2020 camping
season and so we ask you to keep us in your prayers as we finalize all of this
year’s plans.

Blessings,
Ron, Donalda, Pam and Bruce
