Greetings dear Friends!
We can certainly agree with the Psalmist, David, when he wrote: “For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.” Psalm 100:5 KJV
We are excitedly looking forward to our Fall Fellowship Weekend coming up on August 29 to September 1. There will be great times of fellowship, praise and worship led by Canada’s Double Portion, numerous testimonies of God’s unfailing love and pertinent messages by pastoral care specialists Carsten and Linda Pellman. You don’t want to miss it!
There is a special Youth Camp planned for those ages 12 to 18 on September 26, 27 & 28. This will be an exciting time for all with special speaker, Scott Walker, great food, challenging games, and lots of laughter! Call Elijah Adrian at (306)812-6778 for more information and registration.
This has been another busy summer here at the Wilderness Ministries Bible Camp with our Spring Fellowship Weekend, Men’s Fishing Retreats, a Young Adults Camp, annual 10 day Family Camp and various individuals and families utilizing the facilities, time has really flown by! In spite of the many days of smoke filled skies and the proximity of a very large forest fire (still not contained) people have come to the camp and been ministered to by the power of God’s Holy Spirit! God is so good and He is so relevant today!
We were so blessed to have ministry during the 10 day Family Camp by Adam Yadlkowsky, Willard Hasmatalie, Ben and Sandi Johnson, Mathias and Jerusha Johnson, Canada’s Double Portion and various others who helped with leading in Praise and Worship. We not only received the anointed Word of God but experienced it in action as a couple of people, who were extremely ill, were miraculously healed! Praise the Lord!
During the 10 day Family Camp, both Donalda and I (Ron) were down with a serious sinus cold and we are so thankful to all of you for your prayers on our behalf. We have recovered, though Donalda has still been coughing a fair amount and has had some ear issues that have been associated with this cold. We thank you for your continued prayers and also thank those who took on extra duties to make for a very successful camp!
Work has been continuing on the new Cabin 5 (staff accommodation) with drywall being installed at the present time. We are so looking forward to Elijah, Allison and Thomas Adrian joining us at the camp! Yes, Thomas… our newest great grand son! Just before the 10 day camp, we became great grandparents! Special congratulation to the parents, Scott and Keturah Walker who’s son John, arrived two days before Elijah and Allison’s son, Thomas. We were so blessed to have both of the new additions to the family in attendance at the Family Camp!
A special Thank You to all of you who have contributed financially and/or materially to the ongoing ministry of the Wilderness Ministries Bible Camp and Retreat Centre. It is by your gifts and prayers that this ministry is able to continue. We pray God’s blessings on each of you for your faithfulness.
