Dear Friends,

We would like to encourage you to walk in righteousness, to make the choice to serve the only true God.

I Peter 3:10-12 “… Whoever would love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from deceitful speech.  He must turn from evil and do good; he must seek peace and pursue it.  For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayers, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”

As I Peter 3:12 tells us that the Lord will listen to the prayers of his children.  V. 15 tells us to be ready to share the hope we have in Jesus death and resurrection.  V. 17 tells us “..it is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.”  V. 18 “For Christ died for our sins” Jesus (the Righteous, Just, Innocent one) died for the unrighteous, unjust, guilty people so that Jesus could bring us to God.  V. 18 “… For Christ died for sins once…. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit,”

If you have any evil in your life (the Bible calls this sin) and desire to leave that life style behind, talk to God about it and ask Him to forgive your sin and help you live a clean life.  He will help all those who want His help.  Jesus Christ, God’s own son, died and rose again from the dead, to pay the price for our sins. Eternal life is a free gift from God, all we have to do is to be serious with Him, and ask Him to forgive us.  Please choose today to serve Jesus Christ the Son of God, all the days of your life.  You will be very glad you did.

We are very excited about the up coming Family Camp July 31 to Aug 9. We know that the power of God will be in evidence at camp!  Bring anyone who would like the power of God to change their life.  Everyone is welcome, young, old, single, or married.  Double Portion will arrive Aug. 4.  Rick & Bebe will be here for the entire time, as well as Wilson & Sharon Kindred.  Wilson will be preaching each evening.  Aug. 1^st - 8^th, Greg Fraser will be teaching from God’s Word each morning, as Wilson and Sharon Kindred lead the Children’s session.   Aug 9^th   “Gospel Music Celebration” will begin at 2:30 with great singers and musicians like: Canada’s Double Portion, Rick & Bebe, Wilson Kindred, and others. 

If you need extra brochures to hand out or posters to put up, PLEASE call 1-306-276-8061 – leave a message if there is no answer or send an e-mail.

PRAISE REPORT:

1. Pruden’s Point Resort donated two cabins last fall and Peter’s Building Movers donated the moving of the cabins.  The cabins have already been used!
2. God continues to protect the camp
3. We have had many volunteers
4. We have an inverter now for our alternate power system (still needs to be installed, though)
5. We have had beef donated
6. For the finances that people have given
7. Many lives have been changed by the power of God
8. For the many improvements that have already been completed
9. For the different groups and families that have, and will be, using the camp facilities
10. For bringing the right team together for this summers camp meetings

 PRAYER REQUESTS:

1. God’s protection on the camp property, workers and campers
2. Volunteers to help get everything ready for camp time, and to do all the necessary work during camp
3. Finances to operate and improve the camp facilities
4. God’s anointing on speakers, children & music ministry.  That everything that is sung, spoken, and done will honor God and be done in accordance with His Word & will
5. For God to make a way for the people that he wants to be at camp to get there, and receive the ministry they need to walk with the Lord all the days of their life
6. That everyone who enters the camp, goes by, or flies over will feel God’s presence and know that this is God’s Place
7. God to supply the help that is needed to get our alternate power system set up and working
8. That we could make the camp more fisherman friendly (we need manpower to work on the marina channel)
9. That we could improve the playground
10.  That the materials and help to fix the leaking roof on cabin 2 & 3 and complete cabin 6 would be available.
11. For rain to keep the forest fire hazard down
12. For more regular monthly supporters and one time gifts (costs have gone up on nearly everything)

 We hope you can make it out for the 10 days of  Family Camp - July 31^st - Aug 9^th 2009.   If you can only come for part of the time then do so.  You will be blessed.

Remember the Fall Family Fish and Fellowship Weekend - Sept 4^th – 7^th
